Happy Pride Las Vegas! Here is a big kiss from me here at FashionFeedLV to self-expression and the celebration of love.
It was a great First Friday. Even though I was hangin’ with myself, I managed to meet a lot interesting people, and see even more interesting things. I found this flower halo right away at Thea Paisley‘s tent on Casino Center and made it mine. She has a lot of these flower halos in all colors, plus some other really fun hair accessories. She also tye-dyes denim cut-offs in all shapes and sizes which are amazing.
Black jersey skirt from H&M. The young gent is wearing his dad’s Pink Floyd T-shirt. Would that be considered vintage?
Judging by the costumes alone, I think its going to be a showstopper. I WILL find out who designed these and try to let you all in on that here at a future date.
This is the point of the night where I kind of made a fool of myself by jumping for joy and screaming out “I love this jewelry!” to no one in particular. I have recently been introduced to a whole genre of fashion called steampunk. It’s very turn of the century London Industrial Revolution influenced. Wow, that was alot of adjectives. There is an ENTIRE wall dedicated to steampunk jewelry at Hiptazmic Studio in the Arts Factory. There will definitely be a future blog posting dedicated entirely to steampunk. Check back in late September.
Here is a photo I took of Ryan Williams at his art gallery at ArtSquare. Some beautiful works of art in there by Ryan as well as other local artists.
Ryan’s jewelry is by Rhinestones and Razorblades, and the designer Kristen Pock, who I have been stalking on Instagram, was standing right there! Her jewelry is all hand-crafted and can definitely sharpen your edge.
The rest of this post is dedicated to young love. It was everywhere on the streets of First Friday this weekend.
So once again, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who stay true to themselves.
It makes life so much more interesting.
